Dear Tumbleweed users and hackers,
After the turmoil of last week, this week appears almost quiet (but not
boring). Since the last weekly review (which only reached you guys on
Monday, sorry), we published two new snapshots (with a 3rd one expected
later this afternoon - openQA's report on it looking good so far). So I
will include the highlights of the 'yet to be released snapshot', as I
strongly believe in its quality.
Those things reached Tumbleweed in the last week:
* Linux kernel 4.0.3 (updated from 4.0.1, so bugfixes only)
* GNOME 3.16.2, the 2nd bugfix release in the 3.16 series
* The KDE Team was taking a lot of feedback in and fixed several
issues. Keep the reports coming
* Firefox 38.0.1 will be part of the soon to be released 20150521
snapshot
What's boiling? How can you help?
* There is still the topic of GCC 5 to become the default compiler.
There has been some progress, and we're down to a handful of build
failures. Extra eyes are welcome to look at the failures seen at [0]
* The number of build failures in openSUSE:Factory is generally getting
high again (non-ring packages, so things that are not on the DVDs).
Feel free to have a look at [1] and pick some candidates you deem
worthy for your fixes.

Happy hacking and a great weekend to you all (and the ones fortunate
enough to be celebrating pentecost, enjoy the extra day off)
