Migration of Fedora Release Engineering Repository

Dear Fedora Community,

As part of our ongoing infrastructure modernization efforts, the
Fedora Release Engineering (RelEng) repository is being migrated to
the new forge platform.

Migration Details
Old Forge: https://pagure.io/releng/
New Forge: https://forge.fedoraproject.org/releng
Related discussion ticket: https://pagure.io/releng/issue/12931

In the new forge, the repository will be split into two parts as
discussed in previous planning and infra tickets:

releng/tickets – for issue tracking and requests (serving as the new tracker).
releng/tools – for scripts and sources that were previously contained
within the main RelEng repository.

Timeline and Process
Migration will take place after the final freeze of the current Fedora
release cycle.
The migration will use the import functionality provided by the new
forge's Pagure exporter.
Documentation will be updated accordingly to reflect the new URLs for
both ticketing and tooling.
PRs and external integrations will be gradually opened in the new
forge following the migration.
A reminder announcement will be sent one week before the migration.

What You Can Do?
Community members are encouraged to begin preparing by updating
references, creating or reviewing PRs on the new forge repositories,
and ensuring that any automation or tooling pointing to the old URLs
is adjusted post-migration.

Thank you for your support as we continue improving our infrastructure
and collaboration workflows.

Best regards,
Samyak Jain
